We got ready for Christmas, Jesus' birthday, in so many ways!
Beading Candy Canes (or are those J for Jesus?), reading Christmas stories, acting out the Christmas story with our Nativity sets, our visiting Advent Shepard Jerome, and our School Christmas play helped us set our eyes on Jesus!

We used our ordinal numbers.
First we crumbled and layered the graham cracker.

Third we added a dollop of Cool Whip.

First we chopped our apples. Next we added a sprinkle of cinnamon to the bowl. Then we cooked it in the microwave for 17 minutes. Last we ate our applesauce. Delicious!
Fine motor and hand strengthening activities are important to develop better handwriting. We laced spiderwebs, beaded bracelets and explored goop!
A perfect day for a walking field trip to the park with friends. We get exercise and we will be learning about our environment and the changing seasons here.

Thank you to our Knights of Columbus helpers! They brought in one of the special silver roses to commemorate St. Juan Diego and the miracle of the roses. "When the Bishop wanted proof that Juan Diego had truly had a visit from the Virgin Mary beautiful roses grew in the middle of winter. Juan Diego brought these to the Bishop and he knew it was a sign from God.
